I'm thankful for...

With the big turkey grinning on the calendar tomorrow, it seems everyone in the blogosphere is posting about things they’re thankful for.

I have a lot of those – my amazing agent, my three-book deal with Sourcebooks, my wonderful family, my super-hot husband, Wacoal bras, double-salt licorice, multiple orgasms, wool socks, and that great bottle of Pinot Noir I’ll be taking to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

But here’s one thing I’m especially grateful for right now – the hilarious, smart, fabulous, stupendous, dedicated, supportive readers of this blog who show up to banter or just lurk. Seeing your comments on my posts and your hits on my Google Analytics tracker gives me a reason to feel warm and fuzzy every single day. In just nine months, we’ve created this wonderful little corner of the blogosphere that makes me proud to have my name at the top of the page.

Thanks, guys. You’re the best.

And thanks for understanding that I’m taking the next couple days off to eat turkey and buy socks. You can find me at The Debutante Ball on Friday where we’re talking about Gratitude/Thanksgiving this week.

What are you grateful for? Please share in the comments, let's keep those warm and fuzzy feelings going.

Happy holidays, and I’ll see you on Monday!

Have a wonderful holiday, dear Tawna!

I'm grateful my mother's with us for another holiday...

I'm grateful for the chance I'm getting to repair the relationship with my dad that's been strained since I was a teenager.

I'm grateful for the two young men that delight, surprise and make me proud every damn day of my life.

And I'm profoundly grateful for the wisdom, advice, and giggles I've collected since finding all of my twitter pals - like you!

I'm so honored to be at the top of that amazingly diverse list of things you are grateful for.

I'm grateful for your writing-on the blog, in your emails, and in your books (which will soon be shared with the world!)-which never fails to make me laugh.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful for my wonderful and supportive parents, for the fact that I'm able to be continuing my education right now, for technology that lets me communicate with family that's far away, and for the fact that I was lucky enough to find the most amazing guy to spend my life with. :)

I'm thankful for all the usuals: hot older boyfriend, happy healthy kid, loving family, and table full of amazing food.

I'm also thankful that I have so many people in my life who support my writing and who accept me for who I am: a cheerful, sometimes ditzy, dizzy artiste who can't manage to string two paychecks together but who loves her family more than she can possibly say.

Viva La Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful for the all of marvelous blogs I follow which get me laughing or thinking. I'm thankful for the wonderful people I've met through this social networking machine who are both supportive and entertaining.

I'm extremely thankful for my family who've given me so much to write about.

I'm grateful for the rare blogger such as yourself who's not only consistently entertaining, but also appreciative of both commenters and lurkers.

Because of that, let's add another tick to that Google Analytics report, shall we?

And have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Tawna! Adam and I love having you and Pythagoras in our lives. Now to just get rid of these pesky kids so we could see you more. I love having your blog to read, it is nice to have the daily connection with you.

I'm grateful for pumpkin pie, the four-day weekend, naps, coffee, and family. Not in that particular order.

I just wrote a thankful post, too!

More than anything, I'm thankful for my healthy, bright 5yo. I'm also quite grateful that, for the first time in my life, I get to share Thanksgiving with the man of my dreams.

I have been so thankful for your blog. This is a tough business, and it is easy to start taking life too seriously. I always know I can count on a great laugh when I come by here.

Thanks for being an awesome peep and for dedicating so much time and energy to make us smile :D.

I'm thankful for my two wonderful boys and for the two fantastic young women they've brought into my life. I raised to son's, but I have four children now and I couldn't be happier.

Happy Thanksgiving Tawna!

You're too kind Tawna. I'm thankful for all the writers out there with more experience than I have who are so willing to lend a hand (yes you are one, duh).

I'm lovin' this whole blog love fest, too. I'm really grateful for how nice and supportive all of us writer types are.

Oh, and I'm grateful for my husband, even though he has a tendency to go all Alpha-not-so-attractive-in-real-life on me. A couple of weeks ago he told me he loves my butt and I laughed because it's far from my best feature. He asked what I think my best feature is, and when I said, "My brain",he didn't laugh.

I'm thankful for my family...my wonderful children who are, and always will be, my best work. I'm thankful for my husband. He's more gorgeous than the day I married him and just as understanding and supportive. I'm thankful I have a job that helps me make a difference in the lives of children.

I'm thankful for my health.

I'm thankful for all the wonderful writers I've met on Twitter and through blogs...the camaraderie is overwhelming and keeps the dream from becoming a nightmare.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving and cheers! I'm thankful for your fabulous posts that keep me giggling (I've learned not to read them even when I'm on a break at work...people look at me funny when I bust out laughing).

Have a great one!
